This piece is dear to me. I created it in Prarie Creek, Redwoods Park, California after my mother's funeral in August 2017. It is made of dead beach grass and white rocks. The day started out sunny and beautiful and through the hours making this a thick fog rolled in and it became cold and windy. Between the piece I made and the weather I felt like it was the best expression of the experience I was going through.
